We aim to ensure students enjoy Physical Education and participate in Physical Education outside of school for their mental and social wellbeing.

Students will acquire cognitive, psychomotor and social skills in practical PE through a wide range of sports and physical activity from across the world, different sports, and cultures. Students will develop their understanding of sport specific terminology, rules, gamesmanship and sporting etiquette, while exploring the positive impact sport and physical activity have on one’s health and wellbeing.
Students will be exposed to a broad range of activities to encourage lifelong participation in physical activity while competing with their peer.
Enrichment
The PE Department offer extra-curricular after school clubs available to all students to support the development of their skill set, understanding of the game/activity, and to socialise with their peers from across the school.
Students are also given the opportunity to represent the school in football, cricket, netball and athletics.
Assessment
Formative assessment is integral to PE curriculum, and is planned to check students progress, identify misconceptions, and inform future planning.
