Our Performance Data
We are proud of our improvements in outcomes and especially that of our children who come from more disadvantaged backgrounds attain, as well as children from non-disadvantaged circumstances. We work tirelessly, as stated in our values, to ensure that no child is left behind. This was noted by Ofsted inspectors in our 2023 inspection, the report highlighted that “Teachers know how to support pupils to access the curriculum.” with all pupils having the same access to learning as their peers.

Our Ofsted Report
Beckfoot Upper Heaton Secondary School was last inspected in 2023 and we are proud to have received an overall grade of Good. We were particularly pleased with Oftsed’s recognition of our values ‘Kindness, Integrity and Excellence’, and the pupils dedication to ensuring these values are upheld. One statement we are particularly proud of is “Pupils feel welcome, whatever their background. Pupils describe the school as a family.”
